Levi Hart is a veteran Canadian country-rock artist, songwriter, and performer whose raw vocal grit and authentic storytelling have made him a staple across the music scenes of Quebec, Ontario, and Nashville. With over 30 years of performance experience, Hart has built a career grounded in genuine connection, relentless work ethic, and an unyielding passion for craft. Fully bilingual and based in the Gatineau/Outaouais region, he seamlessly bridges classic country lyricism with modern country-rock energy, delivering a sound that is both nostalgic and intensely contemporary.
Hart’s musical evolution is defined by a deep track record of independent releases and dynamic live performances. Having previously recorded three studio albums in Nashville—Never Too Late To Change, Faith and Love, and Believe—he established a reputation as a songsmith capable of turning personal resilience into universal anthems. Over three decades on stage, Hart has earned a loyal regional audience, performing regularly across local venues, cideries, wineries, and festivals, where his high-energy delivery and magnetic stage presence consistently resonate with listeners of all generations.
After taking a well-deserved hiatus from the recording studio to refresh his creative perspective, Hart immersed himself in an intensive period of songwriting. Refreshed, inspired, and armed with a brand-new collection of original material, he is stepping back into the spotlight to embark on his most ambitious recording project to date: a full-length studio album titled Try to Love Me Harder. Written during this hiatus, the new material captures the full spectrum of the human experience—from the high-octane, weekend-freedom energy of driving backroad anthems to deeply personal, honest reflections on life, love, and perseverance.
To bring this new chapter to life, Hart is entering the studio with acclaimed producer and engineer Steve Foley at Ottawa’s Audio Valley Studios. The upcoming project represents a landmark transition as Hart steps out as a 100% independent executive producer, overseeing every element of the production pipeline. The new tracks elevate his signature sound, combining driving guitar riffs, polished modern arrangements, and rich vocal harmonies contributed by collaborator Rachel Jewel. The tracklist will also feature a special bonus track, "Storybook Love," written by hit Canadian country songwriters Jeff Johnson and Dan Swinimer.
Beyond the stage and studio, Hart’s deep connection to his local community and roots remains central to his identity. Whether engaging directly with fans through direct-to-consumer platforms, running local community initiatives, or bringing crowds together through live music, his approach to his career is entirely hands-on. Supported by an active fan-backed Kickstarter campaign and a dedicated network of listeners, Levi Hart’s upcoming album marks the beginning of a powerful new era—one defined by renewed creative energy, total artistic independence, and a commitment to delivering world-class Canadian country-rock music.
