After taking a well-deserved hiatus from the recording studio to refresh his creative perspective, Hart immersed himself in an intensive period of songwriting. Refreshed, inspired, and armed with a brand-new collection of original material, he is stepping back into the spotlight to embark on his most ambitious recording project to date: a full-length studio album titled Try to Love Me Harder. Written during this hiatus, the new material captures the full spectrum of the human experience—from the high-octane, weekend-freedom energy of driving backroad anthems to deeply personal, honest reflections on life, love, and perseverance.

To bring this new chapter to life, Hart is entering the studio with acclaimed producer and engineer Steve Foley at Ottawa’s Audio Valley Studios. The upcoming project represents a landmark transition as Hart steps out as a 100% independent executive producer, overseeing every element of the production pipeline. The new tracks elevate his signature sound, combining driving guitar riffs, polished modern arrangements, and rich vocal harmonies contributed by collaborator Rachel Jewel. The tracklist will also feature a special bonus track, "Storybook Love," written by hit Canadian country songwriters Jeff Johnson and Dan Swinimer.
